My sisters are in town this weekend. One of them is having her class reunion so both of them decided to come "home" for homecoming weekend.
They're having a great time! Last night they met up with a lot of their friends both before and after the football game, they're at the reunion tonight and tomorrow our family is having a dinner at my brother's house before they all head home tomorrow and Monday morning.
Today one of my sister's friends had a brunch. It was really nice. The hostess went all out for them and provide wonderful food and lots of their friends were there. It was a great time. My sister's daughter and her husband were there too, which made it even nicer.
After that was over I took Tessi to get her hair done for the homecoming dance this evening. Her date fell through so she decided to go with a bunch of her girlfriends. As you can see, she looked beautiful and will be the belle of the ball!! I'm sure she'll have stories to tell later.
It's been great seeing my sisters. I wish they lived closer so we could see each other more often and do things together. They're funny and fun and I miss them a lot when we're not together.
I got a flu shot yesterday. I hadn't planned to get one but I was at my doctor's office dropping off Avon books and someone mentioned that they were having a flu shot clinic and had time THEN to fit me in. So I got the shot. My arm hurts worse than anything I ever felt before. Last night I woke up every time I moved because when I rolled on that side, it just throbbed. Hopefully tonight will be better!! I could use a good nights' sleep for a change.
Can't wait to see my sisters tomorrow...then they leave on Monday morning to head back to the warm south!! Lucky girls!!
