The End.

This is probably going to be my last post. In nearly two years, I feel like I've really tried here but it's not going anywhere.

Facebook has taken everyone to a different level, I think. No one needs to read blogs-at least not the kind I write. I'm not hysterically funny, or extremely insightful. My life is pretty boring. I don't do a lot other than what keeps me busy here in the house. We don't go places; we don't entertain. My life and my thoughts don't hold much interest in the scheme of things.

I have trouble keeping up with people because hardly anyone writes letters anymore. I exchange frequent letters with one friend...everyone else uses facebook to keep the world updated. And because they do, I don't know what people are doing-most of the time anyhow. Many days I forget to check FB to see what's going on, other days I don't get there until late in the day and by then I've missed all the fun and important things that are going on in the lives of my friends.

Blogs don't seem important any longer. Everyone is living in a one or two sentence world. I'm still back in the days when people liked to write letters and made them interesting and fun to read.

I'll probably close the blog down on January 1st-exactly two years after I started it. I'm glad I at least tried to make this work.
