Cranberry Upside-Downer

This treat is no downer. An upside-downer, yes. I didn't think I was ready for a cranberry dessert. Sure, I had plenty of frozen cranberries in the freezer but it is early September still. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Then the weather turned cold and almost rainy and I caved. After wearing my coat at work all day, I was in the mood for a nice warm sugary treat.

It was perfect to whip up last night right before vampire mondays. My bud comes over on mondays for tween tv and we had the season of vampire diaries to watch. So what if my bff comes over to watch vampire shows once a week? I'm not too old for that!
Plus, it is all that much better when you watch will having a sophisticated dessert. Well okay, so my upside-downer didn't look too pretty. It was a hot mess in fact. That's why there is no picture of it. That and I broke my camera lense. Yep. Dropped it on the floor and I can't make it focus. Resorting to iphone pics until I get it fixed. I'm such a klutz.
