If you look to the right of my blog, you'll see a list of blogs I read on a daily (or regular) basis. I enjoy them all for different reasons but one of them, the Pioneer Woman, has over 40,000 readers. I know this because she runs contests all the time, and many of them have well over 40,000 entries, one per person. I aspire to be her.

I'd like 400 people to read my blog every day. I'd even settle for 40.

Today she suggested that every blog needs to be nurtured. She says you should post something every day, even a picture with a comment. Maybe if I do this, I'll get people to come more often, post a comment and maybe even up my readership somehow.

Ree said that you need to write like you're talking to your sister, assuming you have a sister and you like talking with her. I think I do that pretty well. I like what I write, and I hope others do. I hope my sisters read this and feel like I AM talking to them.

And I appreciate everyone who takes the time to read my blog. I know it's not the greatest one out there or even the most interesting, but I really try. So to my "loyal" readers, if you have something you'd like me to talk about, or something I've talked about before and you'd like to me to do more on, please let me know.

I plan to write something every day. If Ree can have 40,000+ readers, so can I. Ok. I'll settle for 40 for now. Share my blog with others and I'll be happy. Or happier anyhow!!
